| Thanks Jonas! It was a great weekend of hunting. After sitting in the stand for the first night, having some bears come in and me trying to draw back my bow, I quickly realized that my nerves were too much and I wasn't going to be able to relax enough to shoot a bear with my bow. The next evening we took the crossbow out. A really rubbed out black bear came in first, but I passed on him since his coat wasn't in decent shape. A few minutes later, this brown one came in and I knew I wanted him. I put the crosshairs on him, pulled the trigger and the arrow went through him and through the barrel behind him! He ran less than 20 yards and dropped. I was so excited and shaking like a leaf. What a night! It is definitely a hunting memory I will keep with me forever!! |

| Congrats on the awesome shot! That bear is a beaaaaauty! Nice chocolate bear, what did you do with the hide and did you keep the skull or anything to get measured? You might be in for winning something at the Wildlife Banquet next year. |
