Fish with Ginger Sauce

1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp white sugar
pich of salt
3/4 cup water
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 lb walleye steaks


Place fish in a baking pan and place in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine ginger, lem juice, garlic, sugar and salt in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Wisk cornstarch and water together, stir into the ginger mixture. Stir over medium heat for 3 minutes or until thickened. Pour over oven baked fish.
